ELIGIBILITY:

This Limited Tire Warranty applies to any new GT Radial branded tires produced by the manufacturer and sold by the authorized dealers.

The tire shall be operated under a normal service and used on the same vehicle on which they were originally installed according to the vehicle manufacturer‘s recommendations (hereafter, “Eligible Tires”).
The eligible tires are covered by this limited warranty against defects in material and/or workmanship for 5 (five) years for automobile tires, counted from the date of manufacturing (hereafter, “Warranty Period”). While, the warranty period for tube and flap is 2 (two) years counted from the date of manufacturing. At that time, all warranties shall be deemed expired.

WHAT IS COVERED and FOR HOW LONG?

Any tires adjusted under this Limited Tire Warranty which due to a substantiated defect in materials and/or workmanship will be adjusted on a prorated basis until the tread is worn down to 1.6 mm of tread depth remaining.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

The Limited Tire Warranty does not apply to any tires which become unserviceable due to:

• • Road hazard injury (e.g. a cut, snag, bruise, impact damage or puncture);
• • Improper mounting and/or demounting operation on the tire;
• • Bead failure due to excessive heat from brake system malfunction and/or aggressive use of brakes;
• • Tires have been repaired or retreaded;
• • Any other damages due to any non-conforming with manufacturer’s specification or instruction;
• • Tire with premature or irregular wear due to misalignment, wheel imbalance and improper pressure, non-rotation of tire position, overloading, oil or chemical action, running flat and faulty shock absorber or brakes;
• • Accident, fire, chemical corrosion, tire alteration or vandalism;
• • Flat spotting caused by an improper storage or brake lock;
• • Weather cracking or ozone cracking related to an improper storage condition;
• • The addition of liquid, solid or gaseous material other than air, nitrogen or carbon dioxide (for example : water based sealers or balancing substances);
• • With the serial number buffed or cut;
• • Damaged through use of any tube or flap.

EXCLUSION:

All obligation or liabilities for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of a vehicle or any other consequential damages or expenses are excluded.

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS:

• • The customer must present the claim tire to the authorized tire dealers;
• • Applicable taxes, the cost of mounting, balancing and other service charges shall be paid by the customer.

NOTE:

In assessing the damage, the final judgement shall be made by our authorized representative staff or person.
